Predictions?

Any predictions for tonight? I'm loving that the Angels have made it interesting...barely, albeit...Well, I'm sure Yankees fans love having Pettite on the hill for the closer but Saunders was pretty dirty in Game 4, a game where they did end up winning....Let's see how this thing pans out...

ALCS

Wow...so many opportunities for the Angels last night...You knew that when A-rod (I'm sorry guys...I really had no idea my closet support for the former Mr. May would yield these results) lasered one to right field last night in the 11th to tie it up that there was no way the Angels were gonna pull this one out. I have to put this one on the defense and I'm gonna point a finger at Vlad "leave em loaded" Guererro. I'm too lazy to look at the actual numbers right now but I can tell you from memory that he came out with bags full twice and did not produce a single run. I went to bed around 1 am when the Angels had failed to break the 3-3 tie...As I got in bed, I told Mrs.CrazyDiamond that the Yankees would win in the bottom of that inning and woke up to see my prophecy fulfilled....

Go Pats

AdSense

Hey guys,

All the ads that you now see on the blog are put of a program called, AdSense. This may enable me to make a little extra cash on the side. Absolutely not the purpose of the blog but as I am on a measly human services salary and pretty much in a constant state of brokeness, I figured what the hell. Please bear with it for a little bit, I know that it looks a little crummy. If it is not worth it financially, I will cancel the service.

Thanks

Yankees/A-rod

I have to say everyone, now that the Red Sox are out of it, I am fully engrossed in watching the Yankees demise. The only problem is that it is not happening and by the looks of it, it does not appear to be happening anytime soon. They are rolling right now, peaking at the perfect time and it is not looking good for us here in Red Sox Nation. The Skanks fans are already salivating at the idea of their first Championship since 2000, when they took down the Mets in the overhyped Subway Series. I am going to let you in a little secret too, for some twisted reason, I was kind of, sort of rooting for A-Rod to finally hit in October. The only person I really discussed this with was my father. I don't really know why it is, I mean, the guy has a tendency to piss me off royally on the field (see yelling " I got it" rounding third against the Jays, and his infamous bitch slap of Bronson Arroyo's glove in the 2004 ALCS, and finally, the way he gave Angels catcher Jeff Mathis an little extra last night during the collision at home). I just felt like, roids or not, this is one of the greatest hitters of this century and it would be a shame to look back at a hall of famer and think that the guy couldn't get it done in October. That being said, according to my father, I have single handedly reversed A-rod's playoff woes and I am cause of the Yankees success. So, this is my confession via the soon to be famous "Sage's Palace" blog...Open for responses and hopefully new topics to come...

Have a great weekend everyone!

Welcome

Hey everybody...

Ok, so first off, welcome. Thank you for coming. My reasoning for creating this is that I have always enjoyed writing and I also like venting so I figured this would be a good avenue for both. Hopefully, we can get some funny, intelligent, and witty banter going on.

So, you might be wondering about the name of my blog, Sage's Palace. For those of you old enough to remember electronic bulletin board systems, i.e. BBS's, this will make more sense. I actually hosted a BBS where people could upload files and dl for that matter. There were some stupid games on it, essentially RPG games with absolutely no graphics which was kind of funny. Anyways, the name of that blog was, yes, you guessed it, Sage's Palace. So let's see how this thing works out. Feel free to leave some comments, I'm not even sure how this whole things works but it might be fun...

Later
